John Anderson

John Anderson - Director is the founder and Managing Director of Anderson Kelly and is actively involved as a senior consultant. Having left a safe career haven of seventeen years in commercial banking John set up his first recruitment agency in 1997. John would say that “I am a better banking recruitment consultant than I ever was a banker”. He appreciates what banking is today and loves to instil his knowledge helping with business units' growth strategies and in shaping individuals careers.
Having specialized in commercial lending and trade finance John is well versed, well connected and well placed to talk about the banking and finance industry. His years in the industry have equipped him with a wealth of knowledge about the inside workings of the banking industry, the structure, the culture and the current market trends.

Johns years in recruitment have enabled him to develop a large network of clientele to be referenced when needed and a good understanding of the importance of making sure the 'fit' is right.
Most importantly John is passionate about his involvement in a recruitment process, passionate about finding the best Candidate for a role and the best role for a Candidate.

Yvonne Skinner

Yvonne Skinner - State Manager (South Australia and Western Australia) Yvonne has over 25 years experience in the Banking and Finance Industry. Positions held include 14 years as Head of Branches, Adelaide Bank and 6 years as State Manager, Wizard Home Loans (2007/2008 State Manager of the Year). These roles included recruitment, sales, management and marketing and as such Yvonne’s foray into Recruitment Services actually began years ago.

Yvonne is very relationship driven resulting in the development of an extensive network. Her years in the Finance industry provide her with an in-depth knowledge of this sector and her background and networks provide her with the tools to position herself as a key player in Recruitment for Financial Services.

In John’s words “if Yvonne doesn’t know someone in Adelaide Corporate, she sure knows someone who does. This is why I have been targeting her for Anderson Kelly ever since I met her. Needless to say we are pleased to have Yvonne on our team”.

Michael O’Sullivan

Michael is the State Director of Anderson Kelly for NSW & ACT and is a banking and finance specialist with over 30 years experience in front line banking and people leadership roles.
He brings a unique perspective through his understanding of the many roles across the banking industry, having worked in senior leadership roles in Australia and South East Asia in Corporate and Commercial Banking, Trade Finance Sales and Operations and Retail Banking.

Michael has a particular passion for helping individuals develop their talents by finding challenging roles that match their skills and aspirations.

Michael also has walked the path of the ‘Client’ during his years in the banking industry and hence not only has an in depth understanding of what is required of a good recruiter, but also what challenges are faced by the Employer.

Shane Talbot

Welcome to Shane Talbot as State Director of Anderson Kelly for Queensland.

Shane brings to Anderson Kelly a wealth of Financial Services experience with over 30 years of valuable executive and leadership experience in the Banking industry.

Having held titles like Head of Business Banking, Provincial Queensland; Head of Retail Financial Services, Victoria/Tasmania and Head of Retail Financial Services, W.A. it is obvious that not only does Shane understand the Banking industry and its various complexities but he also most certainly knows its people.
Pride, Passion and Performance have been the benchmarks for career success to date and this will continue to be Shane’s objective in his work consulting in Executive Recruitment. With the addition of Shane, Anderson Kelly clearly has a true in-depth knowledge of the Banking industry nationwide.
